Wildman Duathlon win for Whyte.

by on Jan.25, 2012, under Whyte News, Whyte Racing

Chapeau Cedric…

I raced the Human Race Wildman duathlon yesterday and was pleasantly surprised with an easy win, almost 3 minutes ahead of multiple (aquathlon) world champ and elite triathlete Richard Stannard. The success was built on the 1st run as I had a 2 min lead entering T1, but I also I did the best bike split on my Whyte E-120XT, despite a stuck chain that cost me a good minute, and despite the guys behind riding 29ers, which on a rolling course like that was a massive advantage. But yesterday was one of those days when you never get tired and you feel invicible. I kept on waiting to blow up but instead felt powerful and always in control. One to savour, and a fantastic way to kick off 2012!
